2013 Flex SEL AWD dome lights

just replaced my 2009 flex with a 2013 flex SEL AWD. I can not figure out how to get the dome lights to come on when doors are opened. also the steering wheel controls are not backlighted at night nor the floor shifter. can anyone help me out

Have you got the dimmer control all the way down?

have tried it all the way up and all the way down no change except the brightness of the dash display but nothing happens with the dome lights although I can manually turn them off and on by the switches on the lights makes no sense.

Check fuses F4 & F12 in the BCM under the dash

checked the fuses f-4 was good. f-12 was bad replaced it now the dome lights come on when doors are opened. got to check after dark to see if steering wheel and console shift light up thanks for info.
