Looking for other ecoboost owners here with a Magnaflow exhaust. Mine is # 16395 (2012 Ecoboost AWD). Mine has an unbearable drone at highway speeds, especially under light acceleration, like going up a gently hill, I actually pull it into manual and shift down to 5th to get it to quiet down. I feel sorry for anyone riding in the third row.

For anyone who doesn’t know what drone is, its not loud exhaust tone, its the deep, low resonation that echoes in the cabin.

So any other owners here: Do you have the drone? Is mine installed wrong somehow?
Or, is there anything you’ve done to fix it? Im thinking about having some J-pipes welded in…??

It does sound great around town tho!
