2015 Ford Flex Transmission Problem

Hi Everyone,

I bought a brand new 2015 Ford Flex in December.
It now has 2,515 miles on it.
This weekend I got in my car and went to back out of my driveway put the car in reverse, and the car didn't have any power when I stepped on the gas it felt like the transmisson was slipping.
So then I put the car in drive but it didn't have any power.
I called Ford 800-392-3673 and they towed it to the dealer on Saturday.

 

Today the dealer called and said that they tore down the transmission and have ordered parts.

Piston assembly and Snap rings.

 

 

Thank you.

 

PS Saturday I did call Ford customer relations and get a case number.

Hi Everyone,

 

Update on this I got my car back on Friday March 25th.

It took Ten days to get it back.

Waiting for parts is why this took so long.

 

I have to say a big thank you to Mark at Corporate Ford.

He is amazing!

 

Also thank you to my Service writer Mark at Simi Ford he is awesome.
