Thursday I drove from Cleveland to Detroit to rescue a pair of SE tail lights. Was about 200 miles each way. Good road trip! Got gas near 8Mile and I-75 and averaged 28 mpg on the trip home.

Today I baked them in the oven and split the lens from the rest of the housing,

Next will be painting the chrome black and painting the grey border on the lenses black. Will provide picts when completed.

Should look like this when done

These are going to look just awesome on my TBM Flex and will wind up costing much less than the nearly $400 each price for the Titanium tail lights.

They are going to look killer on your Flex - post up some photos when it's together, please!

As for getting gas @ mile/I-75. . .that takes guts!

As of today, both lamps have been split and the insides painted. Here are photos of the progress to date

The edges where the lens will be glued are still masked.

Right lamp clamped together after glueing lens back on.

Spare lamps are allowing me to take my time even though I can't wait to see the end result. :clapping:

Both lenses re-assembled, tinted and clear coated. Just need to wet sand 1 more time, buff, polish and reattach the brackets. Next pict will be on the car sometime tomorrow.
