Is there any way to upgrade the sync in vehicle microphone so it doesn't sound like crap when making calls? I have a Bluetooth head set that noise cancelling and no one complains when I use that while driving but when I'm in the flex everyone complains its hard to hear me due to it doesn't cancel the noise.

Also, my sync allows me to do navigation but doesn't have a screen. I tried hooking my phone GPS up to use the turn by turn navigation but my car keeps telling me that its not active? Do I need the actual LCD screen in order to use the navigation or am I just an idiot and not understanding how the sync works. Phone is synchronized and I can make calls and receive texts and everything.

The directions in Sync without Nav are voice turn by turn. You also get the current readout on the small radio screen. It will count down the miles to the next turn and show whether it is a right turn or left turn. You do need a current subscription to Sync Services to use the directions feature.

$60 US per year for Services. The Bluetooth portion of Sync for hands free calling ect. is free.
