I'm having that AC door knock sound when i first turn on the AC...I think if i can get access under there, i can fix the door, but i can't get the panel off..there are to vinyl looking accessory screws that just don't come off the normal way, and i really don't want to break them off...is there a trick to removing them and the panel?

thank you

cc

You can get to it by opening the glove box past the stops. There is a damper that needs to come off first then push the sides of the glove box in to let it flip down.
