Sorry if this post is redundant, I don't see any like it in the last year, so Ill give it a go.

My 2010 flex has no tow package. I believe I need the brake controller/7pin installed, an oil cooler and a class III hitch. I can do the class II hitch myself, Id imagine, but I need to know good places to get the rest of the stuff installed.


Should I play it safe and go to the dealer? Do they even do this (Ill call but IM curious as to your experiences) Is the oil cooler idiot proof? Im relatively handy, but no mechanic, and this is just too important to mess with.


What would be your recommendations if you were in my position?
