Having a 2010 SEL with the old school matrix only display - is it possible to upgrade to the full screen unit and if so, what effort ... anyone done it already?

I'm interested in this, too. I'm only on day 2 of ownership and day 1 of research. It looks like any modification will require a whole new faceplate/surround.

It's a big, big, big, BIG job.  Lot's of software reprogramming that only someone with the special Ford tools can do.  I don't recommend it, you'll be far better off just trading for a vehicle that already has it.
