I just finished building my hitch mounted cargo box.  What do you think?  I know this is not necessarily the correct place to post these, but I wanted to brag a bit.

Thats pretty damn cool!  One question though, what about your tail lights?  You might want to consider putting some LED trailer lights on the box.

The black bar near the top is an LED light strip for pickups.  My wife was even impressed with the lights. I will also remount the license plate when we take it on route 66 this summer.

Oh cool, didnt notice that until you mentioned it.  I have a pickup truck box sitting in my barn, all it has been doing for the past 5 years is holding up the bucket loader on my tractor. You gave me a great idea for when I install the hitch this weekend.

I thought about buying a tool box for it, but the only ones that were the right size were very expensive.  The littler ones would not conveniently hold suitecases for 6.

I saw at Tractor Supply a hitch mount for the tool box.  It bolts to the bottom of the box, so looks like I have something to add to my list.

How do you use the liftgate?  Is the cargo rack mounted with a swing-away hitch?  I've also got the LED strip on my cargo rack and I've gotten several compliments on the setup while on vacation at the beach this week.
