I replaced the front and read pads and rotors on my wifes flex. The front calipers pistons were pushed all the way with a c clamp, the rears were screwed back in ll the way with a tool.

After that the rears would not apply, if you pump the pedal the rear caliper would apply but apon releasing the pedal the piston would totall retract.

To get the brakes to work I adjusted the piston out, so it applied the pads when the slight pressure to the pedal. I don't think that need to be done but I couldn't figgure another way around it. Did I do somethign wrong?

I'm worried that as the brake pads wear that the caliper will not self adjust. Also the parking brake does not apply even after setting it several times.

Any ideas or comments?

I am having the same issue right now
front and rear pads and rotors replaced
rotated the rear calipers back in - made sure the notches were alingned with the pins on the pads
put everything back together
when you push on the brake pedal - feels like it starts to engage -then softens -push more and then engages
fronts grab but rears do very little
Parking brake barely engages
