Hi,
as 18" tires are pretty expensive, I always search the web for best possible deal.
A friend of mine told me I should check "compatible" size.
So, I found 255/55R18 was exactly the same radius and tire size by 1mm (won't do any change on speedometer reading)

So I had a look on this size and found huge rebate on Tiretrends.com no need to cross the border this time to pay a decent price. They sold me the 255/55R18 @ $144 ea + $13ea for shipping. Total : $660 for 4 General Grabber UHP while 235/60R18 would have cost the same on Tirebuyer.com (but I have to get them at my Kinek shipping point) or I would have pay $995 for 235/60R18

As the limited Flex comes on 255/45R20, I know there is enough space for for 255 wide tire.

Do you think I made a good buy?

How do you like those?  I was thinking about going with that size when we need a new set of tires.

Well how does the 255 width tire ride and does tire hit mud flaps or wheel well when turning?

Yes I would also like to see the answer for the 255/55/18, do they rub the fender well? I bought a set of 245/60/18 and they rub my fender wells when the wheel is turning!

I was looking to get either the 245 or the 255 size instead of standard 235/55R19 for my 2013 flex limited.  each tire place gave me the lecture that it would mess up the abs, wheel traction control and speed.  well I purchased the 235/55R19 michelins latitude tires. WOW much better tire than the hankook tires that came with the flex. I remember having a ford E-150 clubwagon the wider tires would rub the mud flaps
