Attached is a new review of the 2013 Flex. In addition to the official Ford preview (www.ford.com), this is the second reference to a 10 Hp increase to the EB motor. I wonder if this is a typo or an actual 3% Hp increase.

It's just a change in marketing. The old Flex already had 365hp.

Not really disappointing, at least now we know that they didnt detune the Flex and it is the same setup as the SHO.  Either way, still a ton of HP and ton o fun!

I am still amazed at 365 HP from a V6.  My Shelby has 500, which is a lot too, but it's from a 5.4L super charged engine.  To think that a few years ago, the Mustang GT was king of the hill with 225 horses!  :shift:

What is really amazing, I had a 99 F350 with a 7.3 Diesel that only produce 30 more HP( tons more torque though).  What is even better, when driven just right, they can get over 20 MPG.  When driven just wrong though, 14 or less, much less if you really bad(devils horns) :shift:

Compared to some of it newer cousins, the 7.3L was a monster of an engine.

Compared to some of it newer cousins, the 7.3L was a monster of an engine.

And other than teh Cackle, probably the most reliable from International. The 6.0 that replaced it was dogged with issues for years.
