I would like to remove the ecoboost emblem, but before I do I wanted to ask if anyone else has done this to make sure it is only double stick tape on it and that there is not a prong on the back side that will leave a gaping hole in the back of the vehicle.

Thanks for any help

according to the F-150 guys just a simple emblem with no prong... I would imagine it's the same on the Flex... Can't believe they would have completely different tailgates for ecoboost vs non-ecoboost... one with holes and one without...

Fishing line and possibly a heat gun or remove the residual adhesive.
