Does anyone for sure know whether Ford's windshield R/R procedure officially includes the installation of new A Pillar trims?

I seem to remember reading that the removal of the trims - which is required to replace the windshield - breaks their mounts and makes them unable to be reinstalled, therefore replacement is necessary by design...which is why they're plastic and relatively inexpensive.

Thanks for any info.

(I have an '09 Limited.)

So here's the scoop...
The A Pillar trim pieces don't require replacing, but their connecting clips will. The plastic clips usually break when the trim is removed from the pillars. Any of the broken clips need to be replaced to affix the trim back to the pillar. The clips are inexpensive.
