I have been trying to remove my front wiper arms to clean the drains under the windshield and am actually bending the wiper arm removal tool I bought. I cannot believe these things are on this tight. Anyone else pulled theirs and if so, how? What if anything special did you ahve to do to get them off? Thank you!

You did remove the nut(s) holding the arm(s) on, didn't you?
Tighten them to 18 lb-ft when re-installing.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, caps and nuts removed. This is baffling to me. I hit them with liquid wrench to soak overnight and still no go.

Bummer! I looked in the shop manual, and that's all it has to say - remove cover, nut, and use a suitable 2 jawed puller. Sorry, I'm out of ideas. I'll be watching this thread to see if anyone has a solution.

I ordered and tried a different pulling tool and it worked great. I'll find the make and part number and post it. The arms came off with little effort. I cleaned under the cowl real good, just washed the truck, floorboards dry.
