Yesterday I got stuck for the first time with my ECO AWD pulling a light trailer (maybe 1500 lbs). I was backing up off road on a down hill slope perhaps on a diagonal of 45 degrees to the fall line on grass. When I tried to go back up the hill, all I got was in-place wheel spin. I was about to disconnect my trailer to get out of the hole when my neighbor pulled up with his Suburban. A quick cable connect to the front of his Suburban from under the front of my Flex, a little reverse action with the Suburban with a bit of gas pedal in my Flex and I was out of the hole.

It taught me a lesson that my Flex definitely is NOT a 4WD although I would also venture a guess that a Suburban or a Jeep would have had the same problem on grass, trying to climb the same hill. I AWAYS carry one of those 10,000 lb nylon towing cables, mostly to help someone else. This time it came in very handy for me.
