What vehicle did your Flex replace?

Sold my wife 2004 Jeep Liberty, hated that crappy jeep, short wheelbase for a bumpy ride, engine noise on the highway, no room to store my 7’6” fishing rods. Haul stuff for camping no room when having kids. Also sold the crappy Jeep day after the latest recall announced about the gas tanks catching on fire from a high speed rear end collision. Reminds me of the Ford Pinto BBQ people from a rear end collision. I love the boxy look of the flex the room inside is amazing, leather seats with the warmers/coolers. Longer wheelbase for a smoother ride. Glad that I got the extended premium care warranty for 7 years 100,000 miles I will keep this thing until the doors fall off.
Haha, We are replacing my wife's 2003 Jeep Liberty Freedom Edition. What a difference between the Flex nad the Jeep! I did not know about the gas tank recall. The little freedom edition liberty was sure sporty but man that thing was rough riding and its seemed that any quick movement of the steering wheel could flip you over. I did like how easy it was to turn around.
We love the 2013 FLEX Limited. So comfortable, quiet, sturdy feeling and ROOMY, not to mention all the technology (Im not sure I am smart enough to figure all the devices out) ! We feel much safer in the flex vrs the Liberty.

2007 Chevy Avalanche. Did not need the truck/towing type of vehicle anymore. Wanted a little more space that was fully protected and wanted a vehicle with a third row. The Avy was starting to leak more into the bed (was pretty watertight when new). Only thing I'll really miss is the snow capability. Its weight distribution was 50/50 and it would go through snow like a hot knife through butter.
