I have been playing around on Photoshop with a stripe for my hood.
This is what I have come up with so far. I will have a friend who owns
Stickerpoint, a decal factory cut it out of white vinyl. What do you Flexers think.
If I don't like it I can always take it off.

Personally I would go with something a little more subtle...like maybe a Twin Turbo or TT badge on either front quarter panel or on both front doors...but try your decal and take pics!

I did the same kind of thing on my HEMI Durango.
I liked it and it seemed to be well received.
Here is what it looked like.

Well hell, if the turbos, and the red paint don't make you ticket bait, that sticker should do it... I'm an understatement guy... chrome don't get you home... looks good just the way it is sans sticker... but it's your car, and like you said, you can peel it off if you don't like it....

I wouldn't do bu t see how you like it. I just wouldn't want something that big on my car. I would do as stated above and just do badges (TT or Twin Turbo) on the gate or the fenders. The Dodge doesn't look all that bad but I don't think it would look that good on the Flex. Maybe if it was a different color it would be ok. Maybe an slightly different red, kinda like when ppl do ghost flames.
What ever you decide, post pics

Ghost would look so much better as it would be subtle, and make people look twice.

I don't think you can do a proper Ghost Stripe in vinyl and I do not want it to be permanent.

I dont see why not, it just needs to be subtle difference in color and hue to make it work.

A Ghost stripe needs to be embedded into the paint. That is not the look I want anyway. Each to their own.

If you tried to ghost with a sticker its gonna look like an off color failed paint match, to make a ghost look like a ghost its gotta be in the paint and under the clear... Ghosting is one of the hardest things to pull off when painting a car, many can do it, not many do it well...

Looks great! Slap that stripe on there and post pics. Those wide stripes are a tad retro and it brings out the Flex's retro design. I would lose the Ford logo, though. It already has the oversized Ford badge on the grill. Putting it on the hood also is overkill. I wonder what the flex would look like in Cragar S/S Mags! Better yet, offset the stripe to the driver's side of the hood and continue it down over the bumper. I really like that dodge stripe, too.

Wow, that white on the red really stands out. It is a great idea though....I too agree that ghost graphics look the best. How about putting a flat black emblem with the strip actually continuing up and over the car and down the back of the lift gate? I think that would look awesome too. Either way, these cars are perfect for customizing, there are so many different ways that we can go. I just picked up my 2010 EcoBoost and I am trying to figure out which direction I want to take it.

I think it would look much nicer without the Ford logo and Twin Turbo.....Just the stripe would be awesome
