Thanks for posting the TSB my brakes started making noise at 5000 miles so going to the dealer on monday to take care of this

Just an update. My dealership fixed the right front brake pad/rotor and noticed same problem starting on left. They fixed that too. Been a couple of weeks and the grinding sound is gone.

I've had this issue since shortly after I bought my Flex, dealer kept telling me they couldn't find a problem. Now I find this and take it to the dealer and get told that Ford refused the TSB because I now have over the 18,000 mile warranty limit. The dealer telling me they can fix it and split the $400 charge with me. Kind of crappy if you ask me that a known issue is refused by Ford, guess I'll add this to the list of crap the dealer has no clue on, like me rear seat and the clunking sound in the rear driver wheel area when I go over and bumps.

well about to take it back in to the dealer to have them look at the brakes AGAIN starting to make noises about a month after the last change. At my friends work they do brake testing and everyday he says they are testing Flex stuff hope they find a solution
