I'm trying to find the best options for adding cargo space on the top of a Flex. Ours will have a Vista roof, and I want to know if anyone has experience with the roof rails from Thule or Yakima, used in combination with the Vista roof.

I've read the threads discussing the alternatives, but I've not heard any comments from folks that have actually used them.
Rack Attack says they do it all the time on various cars, including the Flex, and they've never had any problems or complaints.
I know it's been done, but I'm looking for any feedback from those that have had it done.
Thanks

Maybe it's just me, but if it didn't come from the factory, then I wouldn't do it. I am sure, however that these guys are reputable, but for me it (major items) needs to be factory installed. I just hate to have some guys install it then after a couple of months it starts to rust or whatever. I am sure Thule makes a gutter system that may work?

Now that I look at it, on the Thule website it does show this. It is a suggested fitment for a Flex with no roof rack.

That is not a permanent solution, however. It is removable.
