Belts Replaced Under Warranty Nasty Squeal "Removed"

About half way into a 110 mile drive this weekend I stopped for coffee and after getting back in and heading down the road back towards the highway I got a rather nasty noise coming out from under the hood. The sound was dependent upon engine speed and from inside the cabin sounded like it might even be noisy lifters. Upon closer inspection it was coming from the belt area and even sounded to me like it might be a bad bearing in the tensioner. I took it in for service immediately the next morning to Hampton Ford Hyundai in Hampton, NH. About two hours later both belts had been replaced and the sound was gone. They weren't able to give me a reason why it was generating that sound except to say that maybe even some "grit" got into the belt. In any case, kudos to Hampton Ford for replacing the belts under warranty with no hassles. Our Flex has 11,800 miles on it.
