My nice LED tail lens broke and I need to find a replacement. Ford wants $560 to replace and install and I found a place on the web that has them but they want to charge $60 just to ship it, yes they gave a discount on the assemble but chewed most of it on shipping. I hate these companies who get you by offering a low price only to make up the difference if not more with high shipping charges.

Anyone else know where I could possibly find a replacement, I already check Ebay with no luck.

TIA

You mean to tell me that the tail light just broke all by itself. You sure it didn't have some help by somebody hitting something with it, or something hitting the tail light?

I'm beginning to understand why the car is so expensive. Over $1,100 just in tail lights. I think the car is still too new for there to be much of a market for the after market to make tail lights for it. Good LED tail lights even for big trucks that have generic shaped tail lights are expensive, let alone a special one just for the flex. Unless you can find a wrecked flex in the wrecking yard, I don't think you have too much in the way of options.

You might check E-bay and craigslist. And you don't have to tell me how it got broke, as it doesn't really matter.

The help it got was the cold weather and a snow brush and ice scrapper. It was in the teens and the car was covered in snow and ice and we were trying to remove it all when the outside lens cover completely broke off. The lens is welded to the rest of the housing all along the edge of the light and it cracked all along this edge. I have never seen anything like this and I do not believe I was rough on it either.

I did check Ebay and Craigslist and a number of part finder websites hoping for parts from a wrecked car, no luck there, However I did find these

http://www.fordparts...1007/137/31007/ Okay deal but they are charging over $50 just in shipping

and

http://www.tascafordparts.com/ Better deal however still charging $25 for shipping.
